By browsing and using the Balaton-fishing Guesthouse website, and by making a reservation,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(including the privacy policy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
General Provisions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.) The Balaton-fishing Guesthouse (Operator: Cobaboat Kft., 8252 Balatonszepezd, Badacsonyi utca 21),<\/p>\n\n\n\n hereinafter referred to as the Host, enters into accommodation service contracts based on these<\/p>\n\n\n\n general terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.) These terms do not exclude the possibility that the Host may enter into accommodation<\/p>\n\n\n\n brokerage agreements with travel agencies, organizers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n legal entities, or sole proprietors<\/p>\n\n\n\n under different or partially different terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Contracting Parties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.) The Host\u2019s services are always used by the Guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.) If the Guest orders services directly from the Host,<\/p>\n\n\n\n the contract is concluded between the Guest and the Host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.) If a third party (intermediary) orders services on behalf of the Guest,<\/p>\n\n\n\n the contract is concluded between the Host and<\/p>\n\n\n\n the intermediary. The Host is not obligated to verify<\/p>\n\n\n\n the intermediary\u2019s authorization to represent the<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guest and assumes no responsibility for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.) The Host only enters into contracts with legally competent individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5.) Minors or individuals lacking legal capacity may only use the Host\u2019s services<\/p>\n\n\n\n if accompanied by a legally competent adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Contract Formation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.) The Host accepts bookings via its online booking system and email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.) Upon receiving a written inquiry, the Host sends a written offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The offer is no longer binding if the Guest does not confirm<\/p>\n\n\n\n it within 48 hours with unchanged<\/p>\n\n\n\n terms and a 30% deposit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.) The contract is established upon the Host\u2019s written confirmation<\/p>\n\n\n\n and becomes effective on the day the confirmation is sent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.) The contract is considered a written agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The inquiry, offer, booking, and confirmation are all parts of the contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5.) The contract must include the following details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Guest\u2019s name<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Place of birth<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Date of birth<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Address (or company headquarters)<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Phone number<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Email address<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Arrival and departure dates<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Number of nights<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Number of guests (adults and children under 18)<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Apartment name<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6.) During low and shoulder seasons, the minimum stay is three nights on weekdays and two nights on weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During peak season, the minimum stay is three nights<\/p>\n\n\n\n on both weekdays and weekends.\nMaximum stay is 30 nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Host reserves the right to require<\/p>\n\n\n\n longer minimum stays during certain periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7.) Verbal bookings, modifications, agreements, or confirmations are not<\/p>\n\n\n\n considered contractual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8.) The Host may include different terms in their offer than those<\/p>\n\n\n\n stated in these general conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 9.) If the Guest leaves the room permanently before<\/p>\n\n\n\n the end of the agreed period, the Host is entitled to<\/p>\n\n\n\n the full amount of the contracted service fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 10.) The Host may rebook the room if it becomes vacant before the end of the agreed period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 11.) To extend the stay, the Guest must obtain prior written approval from the Host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In such cases, the Host may require full payment for<\/p>\n\n\n\n services already provided and may condition the<\/p>\n\n\n\n extension on this payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 12.) The contract may be modified or supplemented in writing by mutual agreement between the Guest<\/p>\n\n\n\n and the Host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Withdrawal from the Contract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.) Unless otherwise stated in the offer, the Guest<\/p>\n\n\n\n may withdraw from the contract free of charge up<\/p>\n\n\n\n to 91 days before the arrival date by written notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Within this period, the cancellation fees specified in<\/p>\n\n\n\n the confirmation apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.\tCancellation fees: Up to 90 days before arrival: 50% of the booking amount,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Up to 90 days before arrival: 50% of the booking amount<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 From 8 days before arrival:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.) If the Guest does not secure the booking by<\/p>\n\n\n\n paying the full amount or deposit within 2 working<\/p>\n\n\n\n days after booking, the Host has the right to cancel<\/p>\n\n\n\n the contract and release the apartment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.\tCurrent room prices are listed on the website:<\/p>\n\n\n\n www.balaton-fishing.hu<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.\tPrices may differ on third-party booking platforms (e.g., Sz\u00e1ll\u00e1s.hu).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The price listed on the platform used for booking is always valid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For EUR payments, the exchange rate is based on the official MNB rate on the day of booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.) The Host may change advertised prices without prior notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.\tThe Host will indicate the applicable tax rate at the time of the offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Any additional tax burden due to changes in tax law<\/p>\n\n\n\n will be passed on to the<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guest with prior notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5.\tCurrent promotions and discounts are published on the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Discounts cannot be combined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6.\tDiscounts published after the offer has been sent<\/p>\n\n\n\n do not affect the original offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Payment Methods & Booking Guarantees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.) If the time between booking and arrival is less<\/p>\n\n\n\n than 90 days, the full amount must be paid within 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n working days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.) If the time between booking and arrival<\/p>\n\n\n\n exceeds 90 days, a 30% deposit must be paid<\/p>\n\n\n\n within 2 working days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The remaining amount is due 30 days before arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.) Invoices are issued in HUF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.) Payment can be made via bank transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5.) Unless otherwise agreed, the Guest must ensure<\/p>\n\n\n\n that the payment is<\/p>\n\n\n\n credited to the Host\u2019s bank<\/p>\n\n\n\n account within 2 working<\/p>\n\n\n\n days of booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6.) Any costs related to the payment method are the responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n of the Guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Conditions of Use for the Accommodation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.) The Guest may occupy the apartment from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the Host is not present at the property, the keys can be retrieved from a key safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The code for the key safe will be sent via email no<\/p>\n\n\n\n later than the day before arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.) The Guest must vacate the apartment by 10:00 AM on the day of departure,<\/p>\n\n\n\n taking all personal belongings and luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.) If the Guest wishes to check in earlier or check out later than the times specified above,<\/p>\n\n\n\n a separate agreement with the Host is required,<\/p>\n\n\n\n and an additional fee may apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.) Pets are not allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5.) Smoking is strictly prohibited in all apartments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Refusal to Fulfill the Contract \/ Termination of Service Obligation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.) The Host has the right to terminate the accommodation contract<\/p>\n\n\n\n with immediate effect and refuse service if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n a) The Guest uses the apartment or<\/p>\n\n\n\n facilities improperly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n b) The Guest violates safety regulations, behaves inappropriately or aggressively, is under the<\/p>\n\n\n\n influence of alcohol or drugs, or displays threatening, offensive, or otherwise unacceptable behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n c) The Guest suffers from a contagious illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n d) The Guest fails to meet payment or<\/p>\n\n\n\n deposit obligations by the agreed deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.) The contract is also terminated if its fulfillment<\/p>\n\n\n\n becomes impossible due to force majeure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guest Rights and Obligations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.) The Guest is entitled to use the reserved<\/p>\n\n\n\n apartment and all facilities included in the standard<\/p>\n\n\n\n services or agreed upon in the contract, provided they<\/p>\n\n\n\n are not subject to special conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.) During their stay, the Guest may submit complaints regarding the services provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Host will investigate and address any written<\/p>\n\n\n\n complaints submitted during the stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.) After departure, the Guest forfeits the right to submit complaints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.) The Guest must pay for the services ordered by<\/p>\n\n\n\n the deadline and in the manner specified in the contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5.) The Guest is responsible for ensuring that any minors (under 18) or legally incapacitated persons<\/p>\n\n\n\n under their supervision are always accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6.) The Guest agrees that minors under their<\/p>\n\n\n\n supervision will not consume alcohol on the<\/p>\n\n\n\n premises during their stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7.) The Guest must use the Host\u2019s equipment,<\/p>\n\n\n\n furnishings, and services properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8.) The Guest is liable for any damage or loss<\/p>\n\n\n\n caused by themselves, their companions, or persons<\/p>\n\n\n\n under their supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 9.) This liability remains even if the injured party claims compensation directly from the Host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Host must notify the Guest in writing of any<\/p>\n\n\n\n damage within 2 days after departure, including<\/p>\n\n\n\n photographic evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the damage exceeds 10,000 HUF, the Guest must<\/p>\n\n\n\n pay the amount within 5 working days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Host Rights and Obligations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.) The Host is obligated to provide the reserved accommodation and<\/p>\n\n\n\n services in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.) The Host must investigate any written complaints from<\/p>\n\n\n\n the Guest and take appropriate action to resolve them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.) The Host may only provide information about<\/p>\n\n\n\n the Guest\u2019s stay to third parties \u2014 including close<\/p>\n\n\n\n relatives \u2014 with the Guest\u2019s prior written consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This restriction does not apply to legal requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.) The Host is not liable for damages resulting from<\/p>\n\n\n\n improper use of the property or its equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5.) The Host is not responsible for personal belongings left in<\/p>\n\n\n\n the apartments or common areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6.)
